Hello dear readers!

It has indeed been some time since my last post. Apologies; Judes and I have been quite busy planning next year's adventure, snuggling while it snows outside (yes in late April), and doing fun things in the west.

Here is Judes with Dobby. Dobby is not a dog, so I don't much care about him. Kind of rude for another animal to be snuggling with my Judes.

Here I am at the playground in town.

We took a hike when it was sunny and warm. It was so sunny and warm that Judes had to pick me up and carry me through the sagebrush. Good thing I'm such a petite puppy, or Judes would have needed to work really hard. The thing in the back is Boar's Tusk, an old volcanic thingy.

Judes enjoyed an ice cream in Farson to celebrate the weekend, and also her offer of a new job; way to go Judes! Moose tracks - sounds yummy.

She took a road trip somewhere, and shared the ten plagues puppets with her friends to celebrate Passover.

Cool scenery, huh? They're headed towards Shoshoni, which sounds kind of like Shoeshine, don't ya think?

In Thermopolis, Judes and friends visited the Wyoming Dinosaur Center. Neat.

Here she is getting in the Passover spirit, eating matzah in the sunshine. What on earth is that weird thing in the background?

Oh, of course. She is visiting the largest mineral hot springs in Thermopolis, WY. Looks crazy to me.

I believe that's the Big Horn River.

Friends, a warning: buffalo are dangerous. Judes didn't happen to spot any on this trip. There were, however, lots of pronghorn, deer, and marmots. Sounds tasty.

Wyoming has some of the strangest views. Woah.

Check out the hot springs trickling through.

Here is a typical Wyoming sign. Why aren't we staying in this state another year, Judes?

I spot Passover paper plates in front of the campfire.

Got to have beans.

And s'mores! Look, Judes' shirt even says, "Less is S'more." Next time they'll have to remember to use matzah for the s'mores. Doesn't that sound yummy?

This is the Wind River Canyon in the rain and fog. Judes sure visits lots of cool places.

Here's Lander again.

And this is Atlantic City, population "around 57." Looks pretty identical to the Atlantic City I've heard about on the east coast.

Here's an old mining town.

I'm glad Judes is back home now to snuggle with me. I'm not glad it's super windy out again. And I read it might snow some more this week. When are we moving, Judes?

Happy Passover and weekend, friends!

Hello friends!

It has been a great weekend here in Wyoming, so far. Yesterday we celebrated the start of the weekend with a lovely stroll in Green River.

Today, we took a road trip. Here I am ready to go:

The restaurant was super friendly and let us sit outside even though they weren't planning to open it up yet. I think my cuteness probably helped. Lunch looked yummy. Quiche of the day. I didn't get any. Rude.

I even asked nicely!

This is Lander:

What a neat looking cavern with water:

We climbed up high. But not as high as the mountain climbers in the background. They are probably tiny dots.

Judes' friend was smart. It was cloudy in Rock Springs. So we drove away and found sunshine. Good idea. Look how pretty:

Hope everyone is having a splendid spring weekend. Love, Rockingham of the rocks.

Spring! It's Spring! Spring Spring Spring!

I had an absolute blast trotting towards the mountains with Judes today.

Happy spring, readers!

Love, Mr. Smileypants :)

Happy birthday to the famous author on the east coast! This is me celebrating last weekend. Life is ruff.

Hello friends,

Judes told me there was a request from the east coast for photos. Here they are. Looks like Judes and family had a blast!

Look, here's Shoeshine!

Sibling silhouette:

Food:

Sisters:

Judes said they went to "The Perfect Crumb." And ate warm-from-the-oven apricot scones. Yum.

Judes seems to like the sea. I wonder if she's planning to move us there.

Judes looks so happy to see her mother. I remember her; she gives awesome belly rubs!

The older siblings:

I hear the one on the right is a published author!

Enjoying the sunshine:

Waterfall by the ocean. Just like Wyoming.

So much yummy food:

The view at lunch. Judes said there was a dog there wearing a hat. Hey, if I got that view and that food, I'd wear a hat too.

What a good looking crew:

Judes met a new furry friend:

Sisters are silly:

Cuddling sea lions. Looks like a fabulous slumber party.

Mr. Mooshu appears so very excited to see Judes:

I know Shoeshine is short, but those trees still look kind of tall:

How sweet!

A little blurry, but three in a tree!

San Francisco from up high:

Looks like the family had a swell time. Good food, good views, good laughs. But I'm glad my Judes is back. And so happy it's springtime. Weird there's still snow out there though. The west sure is...something.
