Hello folks!

Today is a special day. I'm going on vacation. Look how excited I am!

Here are my temporary digs. Look at the mountains; how fun!

Last night Judes hung out with a poker-playing kitty:

Happy weekend friends! And if anyone on the east coast is celebrating a birthday, happy birthday!

Howdy ya'll!

As you can tell, we've had some weather. Here I am trekking through the white stuff:

I know, I am quite brave!

Judes promised me a nice stroll this afternoon. I was super excited. Then I got outside, and it got cold. And it stayed cold. And my itty-bitty feet got cold. And stayed cold. And I had to start dancing to try and stay warm. So we went inside. And then I barked because I didn't get my walk. Life is tough when you're an itty-bitty fluffy Sir Rockingham.

Tonight Judes tried out some potato spices (they came all the way from the east coast)! She tried Tandoori hot potatoes (with the suggested side of yogurt), Piri Piri (from Portugal), and Smoky Baked Chipotle (Mexico). All were scrumptious, I've been told.

Happy Thursday!

Hello friends!

Happy Hanukkah, the last night this year. Judes and I had a fun and relaxing weekend. We are ready for the week ahead (at least I am; I don't really know about Judes)!

Judes had a good time combining random ingredients to create a delicious soup. Not that I would know, of course.

Today we had a carrot party. Judes wasn't really into the idea of me celebrating as well, but once I licked her carrots, she changed her mind. Here I am waiting patiently for her to realize I am always involved in carrot parties.

The pretty chanukiah, all lit up on the last night of Chanukah.

And here is some Chanukah artwork. Guess who painted it?

Have a grand week ya'll!

Hello friends,

Again, happy Chanukah! Today I enjoyed a stroll through town.

Then Judes had some help celebrating the holiday.

The little ones dropped food and gave me lots of attention. So I have some new best friends. We lit the chanukiah together, ate lots of foods (latkes!) and played driedel to win chocolate money. Judes kept telling me I didn't win anything. She thinks she knows so much Hebrew, does she now?

And why am I not in the picture? Because I was the photographer, obviously.

Dear readers,

Happy Chanukah! Today some candles miraculously appeared. Alas, they were too big, the channukiah was too small. It was not meant to be:

But don't fret. I helped Judes come up with a brilliant plan. Our Chanukah will not be foiled!

Just as we were lighting the candles, the doorbell rang. Present time!

Thank you Magnolia (and her humans) for the potato spices!!! What a fabulous gift! I wonder if they'd taste good with carrots.

Good evening and happy Chanukah!

Here I am hanging out with Judes this weekend. She's wearing her "thankful" socks. And yes, I do have a piece of the carpet stuck in my mouth like floss. Thanks for noticing.

My friends and I are pretty stylish. Evidence:

The apartment was quite smoky today. Judes was cooking. Look how well she can chop things.

Frying things without having them fall apart? Not so much.

Alas, she made some progress and came out with these:

I know you're wondering what they are. Well, first of all, they're latkes. Because, well, Chanukah. There are some typical potato and onion, some purple potato and butternut squash, and some sweet potato. Yes, you should want to try all these versions. Judes wouldn't let me taste any, but it smelled oh-so-yummy in the kitchen today!

How was your first night of Chanukah, friends? I hope you all have a lovely holiday, filled with yumminess, happiness, and potato-ness.

Happy December, dear readers! I do hope everyone had an enjoyable Thanksgiving holiday. I had lots of fun hanging out with Judes' friends, while she disappeared to a snowy wonderland. She made some new friends:

Judes told me all about her adventures. How she went horseback riding, had yummy foods (butternut squash soup, for example), had a campfire sing-along, etc. Shoeshine and the parents even participated in the hoedown! But more importantly, she told me I would probably really like Ft. Collins. Here's why:

These are super important when ice skating, which I am learning these days. They also had some interesting Thanksgiving choices for us dogs:

And then there was this:

Judes said it didn't come in my size. What a silly excuse.

Judes has been telling me about her exciting Christmas plans in a few weeks. I wonder how I'll celebrate...
