Happy Monday friends!

This past week was pretty swell. Although sometimes I felt like this, with the 45 mph winds and all:

Judes has way too much fun at work. Here is her apple sticker collage:

And here she is at a basketball game. They won, in case you were interested.

She also went to her first fish fry for Lent. Check out the monochromatic awesomeness.

Yesterday we went hiking in Green River. Check out the cool views.

I enjoy posing with shadows.

It was super steep. Judes was impressed with my stamina and general ability to partake in such an activity. I think she doubts me too much.

Pretty cool, huh?

Have a fabulous week readers!

Readers,

In case you were not aware, the following holidays have occurred this month:

February 20th: Love Your Pet Day

February 22nd: Walking the Dog Day

I sincerely hope all of you have celebrated accordingly. Though of course it is all silliness - aren't those holidays everyday?!

Hello friends,

Happy weekend from Sir Rockingham! Personally, I love the weekends. And this one, Judes promised she'd snuggle with me the whole time. Sounds like a good plan to me.

This was a good week. We got to take a long walk because it was in the 50s and not windy!

The next day, however, it was back to breezy. As in, 70 mph winds. Yikes; this place really will blow me away one of these days!

Also of note this week, Judes picked up some more food for me.

Abby "Clever smarty-pants" looks a little like Magnolia. Which is strange because Magnolia is most certainly not a "clever smarty-pants." I mean, she doesn't even wear pants.

Happy weekend readers!

Hello friends!

I hope you have not been worried about my absence lately. I have been on a marvelous vacation, and there was simply no computer access. It was wonderful to take in the days without the burden of technology, but of course I am quite pleased with its reappearance. Sadly I didn't photograph my trip, but I found some fun-looking photos from Judes' work trip to New Orleans. Weird, it doesn't really look like she's working in any of them.

I'm guessing this is still out west:

And this one is probably when she's getting ready to land in New Orleans:

A parade appears to have blocked easy access to the hotel:

This sign, in New Orleans, reads: "Due to extremely windy conditions these doors have been secured for your safety." Odd, they don't seem to do that in Rock Springs, and it's usually pretty breezy around these parts.

Silly Judes taking a picture of herself after partying on Mardi Gras. Note the authentic beads. I wonder if she brought me any?

Judes says it was sunny the whole time. And one day it was in the 70s! Talk about unfair.

Judes took a lot of pictures of food. It's as if she thinks we don't have such delicacies available in Wyoming. Here a just a few selections. Items included (not all pictured): oysters, crab legs, alligator, catfish po'boy, gumbo, jambalaya, fried green tomatoes, red beans and rice, redfish, pralines, mint julep, the world's best baked potato, homemade create-your-own pasta, bread pudding, bananas foster cheesecake, and donuts - including a caprese donut sandwich. Now Judes' plane story kind of makes sense - on the dinky plane from Denver to Wyoming, she was asked to please move from the middle to the back of the plane in order to more evenly distribute weight. Judes, I think it's time for you to go back to carrots. I'm willing to help you out with that.

New Orleans seems cool from the pictures. They seem to have a lot of hot sauce options:

And voodoo dolls of all kinds, including the "god to help you overcome your fears:"

 And the voodoo lawyer:

Then there's the infamous Bourbon Street:

Some leftover beads:

New possibilities for us canines:

And some pretty strict rules:

In any case, Judes appeared to have a grand time with some new and some old friends:

Here's the view in Denver. How pretty! We don't live there though. Why is that again, Judes?

Even though I couldn't find any evidence that Judes was truly in New Orleans for work, I did find this nifty toy they gave her as part of the conference. Now I can tell Judes just how I'm feeling. Well, except for that talking thing.

Happy day readers!

Happy Wednesday friends!

With the wicked weather, Judes and I have been creative in entertaining ourselves at home. Here I am being smart:

In case you were wondering, the outside world looks like so:

It looks inviting. Until you remember the wind. And the cold. At least Judes got to warm up with some delicious sizzling chicken. It smelled so yummy when she brought some home. And didn't give me any. Judes seriously needs to work on her sharing skills.

I found this in her bag:

May it be true for all!
