Dearest readers,

Apologies for a delay in blogging recently. Judes has been hogging the computer. Rude.

Anyway, Magnolia from Maryland sent along a clip of the recent blizzard. Looks like she thoroughly enjoyed herself. I'm not even a little bit jealous. Yay for living in the desert.

Judes met some kitty friends.

Took a day trip to Utah.

And enjoyed some amazing home-cooked meals from her friends. That I am jealous about.

Tonight Judes decided to try some more potato seasonings.

She almost left me this weekend. I talked her out of it (the snow storm helped my suitcase).

That's all for tonight folks. Just remember:

Hello readers,

First of all, happy penguin awareness day! I hope you are all celebrating appropriately. I am having a swell week. Enjoying treats:

Yesterday we took a stroll and didn't blow away - always a perk. And, most fun of all, I figured out how to put a video on my blog! Judes was ridiculously proud of this puzzle idea. I was proud of my problem solving skills. Judes says maybe they'll use this for a dog IQ test - it's kind of similar to the work she does with her students. Sounds fairly ridiculous if you ask me.

Happy Wednesday blogosphere!

Good evening, dear readers! As you can see, I am enjoying myself on my new pillow (that's what I'm calling it; Judes keeps referring to it as her pillow; how silly).

You may have heard I've been feeling somewhat stressed. You would too, if you kept falling over trying to go to the bathroom, trust me. Well, Judes was super nice to me this weekend. First, she came home with a treat (and it wasn't a carrot)!

Her treat for herself was peanuts, but I snuck one from her. They're kind of tricky to open.

Then she started squeaking this obnoxious green spiky thing, throwing it, and looking at me expectantly. I had no idea what she wanted, so I sat nicely and waited for my carrots. Sure enough, she gave me some, and told me I was a "good boy" for going near the spiky "toy." Humans make no sense.

We were also able to sneak in a super short trip to the bark park!

There were some big dogs:

And some small dogs:

Overall, it was a good weekend.

Happy snuggling friends!

Hello friends furry and friends not!

Today I learned why small dogs don't move to Rock Springs. Judes suggested a short jaunt around town. She told me she saw hundreds of sheep (and one or two horses) hanging out in the sagebrush near the mountain base on her drive home. Sounded like fun, no? Well it was precipitating. I'm not a meteorologist (but I hear there's a good one in California) so I couldn't identify this bizarre mix of ice and snow. And then there was the snow already on the ground, which was flying back up into my face, because of the WIND. Now if that was the only thing the WIND was doing, I might be okay. But alas, the WIND was just getting started. We journeyed on towards the mountains.

It was then I learned about streamlining. Judes has tried to explain this concept to me before - she likes to tell me about swimming; I have no idea why. Well, come to find out, the WIND is quite effective at streamlining my entire body. That's correct readers, even my flappy ears were unflappable. I learned to use my tail as more of a stabilization tool and pushed on, fierce Rockingham that I am. I tried to shiver, but, well, the WIND prevented that. I tried to cower behind a snow bank, but, well, the WIND.

And for an added bonus, I got to practice my ice skating skills on the lovely uncleared sidewalks. And did I get to see these sheep and horses? Nope. The WIND. That is all.

Not sure carrots can fix this problem, but it can't hurt to try, right?

Why did Judes think this was a good life decision again?

Hello dear readers,

Happy weekend!

Judes and I have had a lovely return to Wyoming.

Last weekend she enjoyed dinner with friends while I readjusted to the apartment. It's always fun to try new things, right?

She hung out with this guy, who likes playing with tennis balls. How typically canine.

And it's been snowing. Pretty much every day.

And I have remained an intrepid explorer.

Tonight we are being cozy. We have all the necessary ingredients: fluffy socks, cookie monster pajamas, doglet, writing utensils and coloring book, and fireplace. I added carrots to the mix too. Judes always forgets how important those are.

Until next time dear readers, stay cozy and cute!

Howdy folks!

I hope everyone had a splendiferous holiday season. I was cozy at my New York style kennel in Salt Lake City. Judes reassured me this place was different from the popular deli (also New York style):

When I checked out, I overheard one of the humans talking about retrieving me from "Tiny Town." I didn't see any signs in my temporary adobe, but perhaps that is where I stayed?

Sadly, Judes took my computer with her to the east coast, so my adventure photos remain in my mind. However, I did steal some of Judes' vacation pictures. Looks like she was cozy in Maryland:

She got to see Shoeshine too!

And Magnolia, the doofus:

She found the ocean in Massachusetts. I'm not particularly jealous of the wet.

To celebrate the new year (2016!) Judes and family made pancit, which I happen to know is from the Philippines. I am kind of jealous of that.

But never fear, for Judes has already retrieved some carrots from the store. I am so happy to be back in my bed (or is this one Judes'?) and with my Judes. I had fun in the mountains (New York style of course), but it is lovely to be snuggling at home (especially when the outdoor temperature creeps to negative twenty-two, with a -40 windchill. Yep, I'll stay inside until springtime. Judes assured me she will too, so I'll have company.

Happy 2016 dear readers!!
